Facility Supervisor
We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Facility Supervisor to assist the Facility Manager in overseeing daily operations, maintenance, and infrastructure support at our Production Plant. The supervisor will coordinate technical sta, monitor facility systems, and ensure smooth operation of utilities, plant equipment, and workspaces.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support:
· Assist the Facility Manager in managing day-to-day facility related activities like Housekeeping, Waste & Scrap management, fuel distribution, Vehicle Management, Safety & Emergency Management.
· Supervise upkeep of plant areas including sanitation, pest control, lighting, ventilation,
security & visitor management.
· Monitor functioning of utilities such as water systems, generators, and compressors.
Maintenance Coordination:
· Supervise and assign work to in-house technicians (plumbers, electricians, mechanics).
· Ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment and building
systems.
· Report breakdowns, maintenance delays, or material requirements to the Facility Manager.
Team Supervision:
· Monitor performance and attendance of support staff (cleaners, technicians, helpers).
· Provide technical guidance to the team where necessary.
· Ensure all safety practices and standard operating procedures are followed.
Documentation & Reporting:
· Maintain daily maintenance logs, utility usage reports, and update live trackers.
· Real time asset data management
· Escalate facility issues and assist in vendor coordination as required.
· Assist during audits, inspections, and safety checks.
· Versed in Computer/Data Entry
Qualifications:
· Diploma or ITI in Mechanical/Electrical/Facility Maintenance or related field.
· 3+ years of experience in plant/facility supervision; agricultural or seed industry preferred.
· Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, and seed processing equipment.
· Familiarity with safety standards and preventive maintenance schedules.
