Printing Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Printing Operations Supervisor to lead our printing department, which specializes in pouch and roll printing using inkjet printers. The ideal candidate will manage the team, oversee daily operations, ensure quality and efficiency, and act as a bridge between the printing team and other factory departments.

Job Description

Key Requirements:

  • Technical knowledge of inkjet printers and printing processes.
  • Proven experience in a printing environment, preferably with inkjet printers.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with data management and production tracking tools.

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management:
  • Supervise and guide the printing team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Monitor team performance and provide necessary training and support.
  • Schedule shifts and allocate tasks effectively to meet production deadlines.
  1. Production Oversight:
  • Oversee the printing of pouches and rolls, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.
  • Troubleshoot any issues with inkjet printers and coordinate maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain an organized and clean printing area, adhering to safety standards.
  1. Coordination and Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., design, packaging, and logistics) to align production goals and timelines.
  • Ensure proper communication and data flow between teams, such as sharing production updates and quality feedback.
  1. Data Management:
  • Maintain accurate records of daily production, including output, raw material usage, and downtime.
  • Generate and share reports with management regarding department performance.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Identify areas of improvement in the printing process and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in inkjet printing technology.
