Seed Plant Supervisor
Responsible for supervising day-to-day operations of processing, packaging, printing, and dispatch in the seed plant. Ensures smooth workflow, quality standards, manpower management, and timely order execution.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily seed processing (cleaning, grading, gravity, etc.).
- Supervise packaging lines and ensure the correct use of materials, weights, and sealing.
- Coordinate with the printing team for TL labels, pouches, and roll printing.
- Plan and monitor dispatches, ensuring correct lots, quantities, and documentation.
- Maintain production records, shift reports, and inventory accuracy.
- Manage operators and labour teams, ensure SOP & safety compliance.
- Coordinate with maintenance for machine issues and minimise downtime.
- Ensure zero contamination and adherence to seed quality standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Sc/B.Tech in Agriculture, Seed Technology, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in seed plant operations preferred.
