SVT-222 Til variety by Shakti Vardhak Hybrid Seeds has the following important characteristics:

  • Tall and straight plant with height of 100-120 cm
  • Dark green unbranched plant
  • 6 capsules per node on the stem
  • Compact capsules with white colour seed
  • 1000 grain weights upto 4 gm
  • Oil content 51-52%
  • Maturity period 85-90 days and
  • Yield potential of 1115 kg per hectare
  • Resistant to leaf curl virus
