Research And Development
With a commitment to serving a true partnership with the farming community, the company has focused on developing varieties for crops like Cotton(G. hirsutum & G. arborium), Wheat, Mustard, Bajra, Moong, Til, Guar, Maize, Urd, Paddy and Cumin. Shakti Vardhak has also taken steps to enter into vegetable research bringing a series of vegetable hybrids and OP varieties which consists of Tomato, Chilly, Capsicum, Bhindi, Carrot, Spinach, Coriander, Cumin and Cucurbits.
Quality Control
We believe in maintaining and uplifting the standard of our products on a seasonal as well as yearly basis to provide quality seed to the farming community resulting in better yield and growth of the farmers. A dedicated team takes care of maintaining the quality of seeds during different phases from seed production to packaging and then marketing the final product to the target customers. The company has also established a Seed Testing cum Quality control lab in a 2500 sq. ft area to maintain all quality and seed control orders and a 400 sq. ft cold store to accommodate the germ plasm materials.
Infrastructure
The research farm is sprawled over 40 acres in serene and green surroundings in Village Arya Nagar, Ludas and Hindwan of Hisar district. The land is loamy and water is fit for research. The seed processing plant is spread over an area of 6.5 acres. An area of 3000 sq. ft. of the corporate office at Tilak Bazar Hisar, Near the Bus Stand and just 3kms away from the Railway Station. Five lines of processing plant units are working to cope with the workload and approx. 3.2 sq. ft. scientific warehousing and 16000 sq. ft. the open platform is available to accommodate the raw material, and processed seed.
